Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the services, websites, and software (collectively, the “Services”) provided by Ranklur (“Ranklur,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By engaging Ranklur for any paid work, signing a statement of work, submitting payment, or using ranklur.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

You confirm that you are at least eighteen years old and have authority to bind the organisation on whose behalf you are engaging us. These Terms, together with any statement of work, order form, or written proposal we both sign, form the entire agreement between you and Ranklur. We may update these Terms from time to time; the version posted at https://ranklur.com/legal/terms/ on the date you engage us applies to that engagement, and continued use after a posted update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Services

Ranklur offers a portfolio of SaaS-focused growth services, including SaaS link building, AI SEO with multi-engine LLM visibility monitoring, full-funnel SEO, technical SEO engineering, content production, brand mention activation, niche guest posts, SEO audits, and SaaS product development. The exact scope, deliverables, timeline, and acceptance criteria for any engagement are documented in the statement of work or proposal that you countersign. Ranklur is a results-oriented consultancy: we work hard to deliver measurable improvements but we do not guarantee specific rankings, traffic levels, conversion rates, or revenue outcomes, because organic search and AI search results depend on factors outside any agency’s control.

3. Payment Terms

All Ranklur retainers default to a month-to-month billing arrangement. There are no long-term contracts; either party may end the engagement on thirty days’ written notice unless the signed statement of work specifies a different term. Standard published pricing tiers, as of the date above, are:

• Starter— from $1,500/mo. Early-stage SaaS teams testing the foundation.
• Growth— from $2,800/mo. The most-picked tier with a dedicated account manager.
• Scale— from $4,200/mo. Best per-link rate with quarterly senior strategist review.
• Enterprise— multi-site, white-label, custom SLA pricing quoted on request.

Invoices are issued in US dollars at the start of each billing cycle and are payable within seven days unless otherwise stated. We accept ACH, wire transfer, and major credit cards. Late payments accrue interest at the lower of 1.5% per month or the maximum permitted by Massachusetts law, and we may suspend Services for accounts more than fifteen days overdue. Setup fees and one-time deliverables are non-refundable once work has begun.

4. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment of all fees for a deliverable, Ranklur assigns to you all right, title, and interest in custom deliverables created specifically for you under a statement of work — this includes commissioned content, custom code shipped into your product, and bespoke audit documents. Ranklur retains ownership of its pre-existing tools, frameworks, internal checklists, publisher relationships, proprietary outreach methodology, and all generalised know-how developed before or outside your engagement. You grant Ranklur a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use your name, logo, and anonymised result data for case studies, portfolio listings, and marketing collateral unless you opt out in writing.

5. Refund Policy

Because each engagement begins with team allocation, publisher pitching, and research that cannot be unwound, fees for completed work and work in progress are non-refundable. If a deliverable does not meet the acceptance criteria documented in your statement of work, we will rework it at no additional charge until it does. Where the engagement includes our 12-month link replacement guarantee, any backlink that is removed or changed to nofollow within twelve months of placement is replaced at no cost. Pro-rated refunds for unused portions of a paid month are issued at our discretion when termination is initiated by Ranklur for reasons other than your breach.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ranklur’s aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services is limited to the total fees paid by you to Ranklur during the three months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, or loss of data, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. The Services are provided “as is” and Ranklur disclaims all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement to the fullest extent permitted by law.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate a month-to-month engagement by giving the other thirty days’ written notice to hello@ranklur.com or the email on the most recent invoice. Ranklur may suspend or terminate the Services immediately if you breach these Terms, fail to pay an undisputed invoice within fifteen days of its due date, or engage in conduct that exposes Ranklur, its team, or its publishers to legal, ethical, or reputational risk. Sections covering payment, intellectual property, limitation of liability, governing law, and any obligations that by their nature should survive will continue in force after termination.

8. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Hampshire County, Massachusetts for any dispute that cannot first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. Before filing any lawsuit, the parties agree to attempt to resolve the dispute through a thirty-day informal negotiation period, followed if necessary by non-binding mediation conducted in Northampton, Massachusetts.
